DJ's Don't Loose Your Groove
It's a very common tale. Your a DJ and you've aged over the past decade and in the process you've forgotten what's cool. I guess you could say... you've lost your groove. It's a failure to stay fresh, wish causes a failure to boost business, but how are you supposed to stay fresh in an industry where trends change almost weekly? The key is inspiration my friend. If I were you I'd do a scan of the web everyday and find the coolest pictures of the DJ's that you can whether they do Top 40's Music, Experimental, EDM, etc. I don't care. Get inspired by guys like the one below. He's got it and that's what the people want. I'm not saying we all have to be DJ Khaled, I'm just saying we can all learn something from the streets and from the people.

Classic Hip Hop
As i've seen more and more DJ's these past few months there's one thing i've noticed across the board. Most of us have really gotten away from classic hip hop and traded it for Top 40 music all night long. Nothing wrong with spinning the charts, but i think we can all agree that Birdman had it. He really knew his way around a song. I miss the days when 90's rap was the main thing DJ's were spinning. Bring it back kids- show 'em some Birdman!

Best Song of 2014 Thus Far
I've been thinkin' bout you, thinkin' bout me, thinkin' bout the best songs of 2014. So far i think i've nailed it. There's only so many good songs out there, but lately it seems like the youngsters have got a hold on it. So let's start from #5 and work our way to #1.
5. I think we can all agree that in place number five should be, "Story of My Life" from One Direction. It's not the best song of the year, but it's certainly in 5th place.
4. In fourth place i would have to say "Bound 2" from Kanye's "Yeezus." You can fight me on it, but no one's gonna tell me this song isn't a solid four, and how about that music video?
3. In place three Lorde's "Team." Need i say more?
2. In place number two is no mystery. "Dark Horse" by Katy Perry. This song has taken America by surprise and changed the whole game. We love you Katy.
1. In spot #1... Drumroll please!!!!!!
