DJ, It's Ok To Cry

Something i think we've all been thinking about lately is that stoic stereotype that the DJ is to often slapped with. Just cus you're a DJ doesn't mean you don't feel like the rest of us, am i right? I went to  a wedding one time and the DJ was playing some sick mixes, but i started feeling sick as a sat there and watched him. He looked so emotionless as sat there and played such sick mixes! I ended up in the hospital that night. Turns out my appendix had burst and that was causing me to see the world in a strange way. But still, all i'm saying is... DJ, it's OK to cry.

Turntable's and DJ's

I know what you're thinking, "these darned dj's are taking over the world with their rap music and turntables? where did the orchestras and big bands go, and what ever happened to Bob Hope?" Well maybe you're right, but maybe you're dead wrong. In a recent study it was revealed that Bob Hope had a series of albums as DJ. Here is one of the pics of his favorite turntable that he called "Mother."

So there you have it. The class of the big band era and the comedy of Bob Hope weren't just for the past generation. DJ Hope was a man who transcended time, technology, and trends. Peace!

New Study Finds DJ's CAN Make You Fall In Love

Is it just me, or has this whole DJ trend got you fallin' in love again? I can't think of the last time i felt this way and i'm not saying it's love, but it sure as heck feels like love. Thanks to Usher and this whole "pop music" thing, i'm feeling better about life and love 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Thanks Ush!
