Once your DJ is booked, you can go about booking lot's of other stuff knowing that you've got the important things down, venue, dj, photography, etc. The good wedding DJs in Maryland get booked 10 months to 16 months in advance, and for popular dates are typically booked at least a year ahead. In other markets, things might be different but it will always be true that the good ones go fast.
